As prices fall, push for alternatives may ease - Washington Post- msnbc.com

While this seems shortsighted, it is very true. Years ago I read a study that claimed gas would need to approach 5 dollars a gallon in order for sufficient demand to be created for alternative fuels and cars. It seems they were not much off of the mark.
